I can't adjust Varnish settings in WHM! Configuration values don't get saved.

If you are unable to make changes via WHM -> cPanel Varnish, it either means your license has expired or that you're accessing WHM via a non-licensed IP. Login to your UNIXY client area and locate your licensed product. The licensed product will list the IP address that is licensed for Varnish. This is the IP address you'd want to use to access cPanel WHM to make changes to Varnish. For example, if you find out the IP is 1.1.1.1, the URL becomes https://1.1.1.1:2087/

If you have a paid license, you can reissue the IP by logging into your client area, selecting the product, and submitting a "reissue".

* Another possible issue is that cPanel WHM doesn't have enough memory to complete tasks. To confirm this, visit WHM -> UNIXy cPanel Varnish -> License. If the following error shows:

License status: ERR: libgcc_s.so.1 must be installed for pthread_cancel to work

It'd confirm this issue. In this case you'll need to edit file /var/cpanel/cpanel.config and increase maxmem to 386, 512, or 1024 then run this command so the change takes effect:

/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/bin/whostmgr2 --updatetweaksettings

Then restart cPanel: service cpanel restart
